After making all these location videos, I realized later that there were a bunch I missed. So in this video, I cruise around and cover a lot of them…
- La Country Day School: a private high school that my 90s punk band, Gimp, played once and where Jacqueline Angelini (of Function Productions), Loren (of Lurid Records), and Sulo King (former booker at ‘Canes, Brick by Brick, and now the singer of the punk band, Authentic Sellout) went to.
- Signature Sound (where Blink-182 recorded their “Enema of the State” album)
- SDAV/Voice & Video (where I got the first television equipment for In Your Face TV and where my other band, Camerica, got our famous music video transferred to broadcast tape)
- Cargo Records (the label that first signed Blink-182 before MCA and many early 90s indie-rock bands of San Diego)
- Brick by Brick (a 21+ heavy metal venue today but in the late 90s and early 2000s, had punk bands- and occasional has reunion punk shows today)
- A Pacific Beach bar that the Camerica guys and I used to take over and watch our TV show, In Your Face TV, on Tuesday nights at 11:00pm in the early 2000s)
